Exhibitions 2016

Albir beach - Spain

With holiday season well and truly upon us, now is a great time to be thinking about buying a new caravan or mobile home. Next month is the start of a number of key exhibitions, which could be the ideal place to find your new holiday home. Caravans in the Sun in particular have a great few exhibitions coming up, where you can find out more information about buying a mobile home abroad and even view a couple of show homes.

Two key events in particular where you can visit the Caravans in the Sun stand will be the Lawns and Beaulieu shows next month.  Hosted by The Hull and East Riding of Yorkshire Caravan Manufactures’ Associations, both events are said to be THE place to see the latest and best that the caravan industry has to offer.

Lawns and BeaulieuThe first event – The Caravan Extravaganza – is hosted in The Lawns, Cottingham, which is not far from Hull. Held over two days on the 3rd and 4th September, this show gives you the chance to look around more than 130 new touring caravans, 150 caravan holiday homes, lodges and park homes. The majority of homes on show will all be British manufactured. The second show which is on from 23rd to the 25th September takes place on the Beaulieu Estate in the New Forest, Hampshire. Taking place 2 weeks after The Lawns show, this particular event is said to be the main Caravan holiday-home show for the South of England. Taking place over 3 days, the show allows the public to peruse over new models, including 150 holiday lodges and park homes. However, differing from The Lawns event, Beaulieu only features ‘static’ caravans and does not display touring or motoring caravans.

Both shows are the perfect opportunity to view the latest models from the caravan industry and speak to industry experts about any queries you may have. More information about both of these shows can be found here – lawnsandbeaulieushows. They are an absolute must for anyone hoping to purchase a new home in 2017, with an opportunity to see all new models from leading UK manufacturers for the next 12 months. As well as the Caravans in the Sun team on site to answer all your questions, you’ll also benefit from having manufacturer teams on hand also, and the chance to speak to designers, should you have any tweaks you’d like to make to a home prior to placing your order. Our main marquee stand will be with Willerby Holiday Homes for both events.

Other shows taking place, where Caravans in the Sun will be exhibiting this year include two A Place in the Sun events. Following the success of the shows earlier this year in Manchester and London, the Caravans in the Sun team will be heading to Birmingham and Glasgow for the last two Place in the Sun shows of the year. The Birmingham show will be first, at the NEC from 23rd to 25th of September and you can get your free entrance ticket here, followed by the Glasgow SECC show from 29th to the 30th of October. Caravans in the Sun will be the only exhibitor at both shows with a display mobile home. The Pemberton Marlow leisure home will be available live at the show for your perusal and to give you a better idea of size and layout of these wonderful homes.

The Place in the Sun show is the official exhibition of the well-known Channel 4 show, with over 150 exhibitors expected from all over the world. In particular Spain, France and Portugal are all well represented at the shows with popular destinations France and Portugal having their own dedicated area. To answer all your questions there will be developers, agents and industry experts at the event including some familiar faces from the TV show.

So if you’re looking for a new mobile home, your first home or just more information about how Caravans in the Sun could help you, pop along and see us.  For more information about any of the above events get in touch with our sales team at Caravans in the Sun at sales@caravansinthesun.com or UK Freephone 0800 644 45 46.
