1) Why should I buy a property from Mobile Homes Abroad?

2)  What does a viewing trip include?

We feel the best thing for you to do is try before you buy, so we offer the oppurtunity to rent one of our mobile homes on the site for 1 week. This will give you the oppurtunity to visit the local area and attractions, get a feel of the mobile home life in Portugal, where possible, meet the park owners where you will have the opportunity to ask them any questions you may have about the site and/or the local area and ofcourse have a great holiday in the wonderful warm climate of Portugal.

3)  How much deposit is required?

10% secures your plot

Further 15% becomes due 14 days from date of invoice.

Remainder is payable within 4 – 6 weeks from invoice date

4)  Do I lose my deposit?

No, the deposit will be refunded in full once we have re - sold your reserved plot and mobile home, less any expenses that may be incurred by ourselves

5)  What is included in the price?

Furnished mobile home sited and connected on your own plot.

6)  What are the running costs?

All of our plots have electrical and water/drain connections, electricity and water is metered.

The ground rent is from €3000 per year, this charge includes your water, sewage, rubbish collection, pool maintenance and all local taxes.

7)  How long can I keep my mobile on site for?

As long as required.

8)  Can I sell or rent my mobile home if required?

Yes, an agreement can be made to sell your mobile home through Mobile Homes Abroad ltd.

People are allowed to sub let but there is a fee to pay of €3,50 per day by adult and €1,75 per day by child (5-10 years old).

9)  What facilities are available on site?

Swimming pool, childrens park, restaurant, bar / coffee shop, reception, 24h security

10)  Would I need to hire a car whilst over there?

Preferrably, but not essential. The nearest train station is 3km away.

11)  How far is the nearest beach / golf course situated?

Approximately 5 miles to some of the great beaches of Portugal. The nearest golf course is in Palmela which is situated 5- 10 minutes away from the mobile home site.

12)  How far is the site from the airport?

The nearest airport is Lisbon which is approximately 40 minutes from the mobile home park.

13)  What is the weather like?

A pleasant temperature throughout the year

14)  Are pets allowed on site?

Yes, pets are more than welcome onsite in Portugal.
