Why Spain should be your destination of choice …
Spain has been a popular hotspot for the British to emigrate to since the late 70s. Due to the warm weather and laid back lifestyle, many British families and retiring couples have made the move to live abroad. So why Spain? Why do so many Brits choose to holiday here? And, why has this European country become such a popular destination when choosing your holiday home?
Over the last 6 years, 29% of 8.9 million travel bookings have been made to Spain. I guess the fact that Spain is like a home from home keeps the Brits coming back and especially to one of the most popular resorts, The Costa Del Sol.
The BBC reported last year that British holidaymakers were falling back in love with Spain. According to Spain’s tourism Ministry, in 2014, 28 million tourists visited the country, which is a 7% increase on 2013.
